Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert was the co-developer of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
She has achieved a PhD and is a vaccinologist.
Did you know she has a Barbie girl made after her to help inspire children, especially young girls, into STEM careers?

Spellings will be given out by your child’s phonics/comprehension teacher and the children will be tested on these.
Reading every night. Please also return your child’s book bag each day.
This half term we are focusing on our 3, 4 and 8 times tables. We will be consolidating these, alongside recapping the 2, 5 and 10 times tables..
Our Topic in History this term is The Ancient Egyptians - The children will have lots of fun learning about mummifying, the pyramids, afterlife and Anicent Egyptian beliefs! We can't wait to share their learning with you. We will also be planning visitors and trips.
Each week, we will also have a sticky facts knowledge quiz. As part of homework, please help your child to practise their sticky facts - we will send home their history knowledge organiser.
Our PE day is Monday
Pupils are to come to school wearing the school PE kit on this day.
