The Riverside School Day
Early Years and Foundation 1(2, 3 and 4 year olds)
The session times for our Nursery is as follows:
Morning Nursery 8.45am - 11.45am
Lunch 11.45am - 12.15pm
Afternoon nursery 12.15pm - 3.15pm
In the Seedlings (E2 - 2 year olds), the children either attend the morning session or the afternoon session. We do not have full day sessions for this room.
In the Acorns (F1 - 3&4 year olds), the children can either attend all mornng sessions, all afternoon sessions or some pupils may be eligible for a full day session or have the option to pay for a full day session.
Foundation 2 & Key Stage 1
The front gate is open from 8:45am and children can go straight to their class at this time. Foundation 2 & Key Stage 1 start the day at 8.55am. There is a morning break from 10.45am - 11am. Lunchtime is from 12 noon until 12:45pm. There is an afternoon break at 2.15pm - 2.30pm. School ends at 3.15pm.
Key Stage 2
The front gate is open from 8:45am and children can go straight to their class at this time.Key Stage 1 start the day at 8.55am. There is a morning break from 10.45am - 11am. Lunchtime is from 12:05pm - 12:55pm. School ends at 3.15pm.
Assemblies
We have our 5 STAR assembly every Friday followed by ‘Hot Chocolate’ Friday for all our 5 STAR pupils of the week.
