As the proud headteacher of Riverside Primary School, I would like to welcome you to our website.  I hope it will give you a flavour of our wonderful school.  

Our core values and curriculum ensure that the children of Riverside work and play harmoniously. School life is rated ‘significant,’ in comparison to other schools regionally and nationally because we place importance on our children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. As a school of sanctuary, we take our responsibility to make sure everyone feels included and safe. Our curriculum focuses on the well-being and progress of every child and where all members of our community are of equal worth. In addition, we run a highly successful, LA funded Social Emotional Mental Health inclusion base for children from across the borough.

We actively encourage parents to become involved in their children’s education. Our school is well-resourced with talented and committed staff and a passionate governing body. Working together as a school family, we make sure that children are both happy and successful at school.
